Doug Jacob is an American entrepreneur and the Co-Founder & CEO of &vest, the New York beauty transformation platform that acquires, advises and operates consumer beauty brands, and operating partner of Morphe. He founded the creative agency JWALK, acquired by Shiseido Americas in 2017, and co-founded FAST Acquisition Corp (NYSE: FST).
Doug Jacob is an American entrepreneur and the Co-Founder & CEO of &vest, the New York beauty transformation platform that acquires, advises and operates consumer beauty brands and owns the agencies &code, AND Studio and &human. He co-founded &vest in August 2019 with Michael Lastoria. In April 2023, &vest acquired Morphe parent Forma Brands alongside Jefferies Finance and Cerberus; Jacob serves as Morphe's operating partner. He founded the creative agency JWALK in 2010, acquired by Shiseido Americas in March 2017, then served as Chief Creative Director of Shiseido Americas. He incubated Beauty Labs, acquired by Amyris in 2021, and co-founded FAST Acquisition Corp (NYSE: FST).

The platform owns three agencies, &code (agentic AI and automation), AND Studio (performance creative) and &human (clinical talent intelligence), and operates Morphe and Kopari Beauty.
In April 2023, &vest acquired Morphe's parent company, Forma Brands, out of Chapter 11 together with Jefferies Finance and funds managed by Cerberus Capital Management. Jacob has since served as Morphe's operating partner, leading the brand's reset from influencer-led to product-first, with distribution extended at Ulta and expanded to Amazon and Target.
Jacob founded the creative agency JWALK in 2010 and built it into a full-service agency for beauty, luxury and hospitality brands including bareMinerals, Buxom and Shiseido. Shiseido Americas acquired JWALK in March 2017, after which he served as Chief Creative Director of Shiseido Americas. He incubated and led the Series A of Beauty Labs, the beauty AI company acquired by Amyris in August 2021.
In public markets, he was Co-Founder and Co-CEO of FAST Acquisition Corp (NYSE: FST) and Co-Founder of FAST Acquisition Corp II (NYSE: FZT), which became Falcon's Beyond in October 2023. Outside beauty he helped launch &pizza with Michael Lastoria, was a partner in Tenjune and a co-owner of Toro NYC.
Jacob was born in Cleveland, Ohio, studied Business Economics at Gettysburg College, and lives and works in New York.
